brown versus white egg—

though the shell is different

the taste is the same

the fog is lifting

I’m wearing white and not gray

—farewell, poor vision

easy bus ride

their focus is solely

on their phones

despite climate change

they keep a stiff upper lip

life is beautiful

new adventure

butterflies in my stomach

solo traveling

sweet treats

vacation splurges

from bottom to top

myth of womanhood

lost in gendering

AI doesn’t care

mule and laborers

join a long line of beggars

AI doesn’t care

a room full of kids

any outside noise is drowned

in seventh heaven

membership

bursting with bulging muscles

in seventh heaven

line up of selfies

show of aggrandizement

in seventh heaven

seclusion

beer drinking and binge watching

in seventh heaven

family outing

walking through the shopping mall

in seventh heaven

dreamworld

all eyes are on her

in seventh heaven

all eyes are on her

in seventh heaven

magazines!

eyes gleam with excitement

I’m part of nature

every day draws me closer

to the hidden realm

I’m part of nature

my moods change constantly

just like the weather

I’m part of nature

when I’m six feet under

for all to consume

I’m part of nature

but technology is my

greatest achievement

I’m part of nature

in an illogical way

the story is changed

I‘m part of nature

my instincts keep me awake

I’ll hold on to them

I’m part of nature

I still have a taste for meat

but not for my dog

misunderstandings

freedom from all conditions

in the hereafter

misunderstandings

they like to walk the same trail

but their views differ

misunderstandings

though she loves caring for cats

she only walks dogs

misunderstandings

equality doesn’t mean

we are all the same

misunderstandings

a welcome mat doesn’t mean

this place is for you

misunderstandings

the world is a static place

it‘s getting hotter

misunderstandings

her waving hand caught his eye

he is still waiting

a life full of work

at the end a great farewell

with a lot of tears

a life full of work

near end a windfall of fun

despite aching bones

a life full of work

the scripts written in my book

edited me out

a life full of work

only interrupted by

capricious weather

a life full of work

the numbers are staggering

Earth caters to all

a life full of work

long list of inheritors

compete for the prize

a life full of work

presents are always welcomed

in hands of the young

bon appétit—

yummy party snacks

paired with a blonde

bon appétit—

a posh candlelight dinner

leftovers

bon appétit—

wild salmon fillet with rice

and treated water

bon appétit—

real spicy chicken curry

without banned toxins

bon appétit—

walking for a healthy meal

frog leg soup

bon appétit—

taste of labor of love in

every hamburger

bon appétit—

another wonderful day

like a five star meal

testing new shoes

on cobblestone streets

aching back

discarded thoughts

appear again in my dreams

recycling

layoff club

people look forward to

more vacation

gullible people

take pride in their innocence

deception doesn’t care

a loving heart

loves in a big way

fog is gone

crystal clear water

my feelings haven’t changed

but my values

raised burial mounds

remembering ancestors

into the future
